I came into this world kicking, screaming, and covered in somebody else's blood, and I have absolutely no fucking problem leaving this world in the same way. I post guns, animals, politics, food, graphic images, and a fuckton of other things; deal with it.
A few days ago in a parking lot in Lisbon wheelchair users and volunteers occupied all the available Non-Handicap spaces to make a point to able-bodied motorists what it is like to have “their” parking places unavailable to them.
On every wheelchair various notes were left like: "be right back", "it only takes a moment", "I’m get something here", etc.
I don’t understand the stress on being “politically correct” when some people don’t like saying “Happy Holidays. I also don’t understand the anger some people feel when they’re told or the wrong holiday. I say “holidays” myself and I’m a Christian and I don’t expect people to say “Merry Christmas” to me. Hell, I’d find it really cool if someone said “Happy Hannukah” or “Joyous Kwanzaa” to me actually.
I’m an atheist. I still celebrate Christmas. Why? My mother loves Christmas and every year seems to be that “she might not see another after this one” Christmas. So I’ll happily celebrate the fuck out of it, if not just to make her happy and I’ll curb stomp any PC motherfucker who tried to ruin Christmas for her.
Give any holiday greeting you want, but don’t be a fucking cock about how other people celebrate their holidays.
